The name derives from the place where the cheese was born in the early 20th century. The recipe of this cheese is greatly inspired by that of the Saint Marcellin, however, these are chunkier, creamier, and milder in taste.
Saint Félicien is a cheese that is commonly eaten at the end of a meal. It can equally be used to make hot dishes.
